Our Heritage
The name HARKO originates from the prestigious and deeply rooted Harkî Tribe, one of the most respected Kurdish tribes in the region. For generations, the Harkîs have been known for their leadership, honor, and solidarity — values that have shaped the identity and social fabric of Kurdistan.
This name represents more than just a brand; it is a symbol of heritage, belonging, and cultural pride. Our founder, Mr. Amanj Mahmood, comes from one of the most prominent families of the Harkî tribe and is the son of the highly respected tribal figure Mahmood Agha.

Our Founding
Founded by Amanj Mahmood in 2014, HARKO GROUP began its journey as a dynamic enterprise headquartered in Erbil, Kurdistan Region - Iraq. From its inception, the company set out with a clear vision to deliver innovative, reliable, and socially responsible solutions.
The first venture was Jet Parking Management, which quickly established itself as a leader in the parking management and valet services sector. With a focus on professionalism and customer service excellence, the company grew to manage over 85 projects and employ 250 professionals.
This early success laid the foundation for what would become a diversified conglomerate with operations spanning multiple industries and a growing presence beyond Erbil to include Dubai, Istanbul, and Baghdad.
